DYNAMIC Kick off meeting
The 3-days kick off meeting held in Marseille (Marine Station of Endoume) from 26th to 28 th january 2015 to officially launch DYNAMIC project and to have deep discussions on the organization of the project and on major task issues (areas to investigate, methods, outcomes, deliverables).
Eighteen DYNAMIC members attended the kick off meeting, coming from France (UMR PHIM (ex BGPI), 3; UMR LSTM, 4; UMR IMBE, 6; CBNM porquerolles, 1), Lebanon (University of Sain Joseph, 1), Morocco (University Cadi Ayyad, 1), Sicily (University of Catania, 1), and Tunisia (France-Tunisia master student, 1)
The DYNAMIC Kick off meeting was organized in three sessions:
- Day 1: Opening (meeting/discussions)
- Day 2: Field trip in the "Alpes-Maritimes " to visit/identify carob study sites
- Day 3: Closing (meeting/discussions)
The main objectives were:
- Presentation of DYNAMIC objectives and the organization of the project (deliverables, ANR meeting, financial terms)
- Discussion on main issues for each task
- Updates on DYNAMIC members (present and future)
- Discussion on additional fundings (to strengthen the partnership) and new collaborators (to extend the study area)
- Define the main research activities for 2015 (identification/characterization of study sites and Field trip planning)
- Identification of French study sites in the "Alpes-Maritimes"
